How will manage this case 12y/ F , BVCA-R/E 6/6 and left eye-FCCP and Fundus-BE WNL and IOp- RE-12 LE-14 and left eye deviations present since birth no history of trauma....
Check for refraction correction Chance of amblyopia is also rule out
Squint seems to be due to un equal nos of myopia. As vision is 6/6 one can be optimistic by appropriate correction in nos for RE...And binocular fixation could be achieved. DD..Esotropia LF.
The most probable cause for lt eye impaired vn will be amblyopia which cannot be improved now. However, one must do cyclplegic refraction & fundus examination & complete eyecheckup , & manage the case according to the observations made on examination of eye.
Both eye vision 6/6 if only left is convergence excess in that case left eye can not have vision 6 by 6 This alternative convergence squint with Rt eye dominant due to refractory problem left eye remains convergent Do full cycloplegic refraction provide exact no If that improves squint after using exact glasses Otherwise use glasses and do medial rectus recessions of one or if required of both eyes
