i counseled and diagnosed 3 sibling sisters pts with palms and the soles hyperkeratosis, lossing milk and permanent teeth froms 2 yrs and 2 of them have pyogenic dermatosis. state spot doagnosis and counceltation

Dear Dr, this is Papillon Leferve syndrome characterized by 1)Planter and Palmer Hyperkeratosis 2)pt.generally have partial hypodontia and susceptible to juvenile chr. periodontitis of aggressive nature as a result of which pt loses most teeth before 20year age. Genetic connection ,seen in families where consanguinity is prevalent. As loss of teeth is very early,prothesis like artificial dentures is the way out.
