This is a case of 29 yrs female. Recently diagnosed Hyperthyroidism, when checked for swelling in neck and sometimes sweating . No other specific complaints. T3 and T4 markedly elevated. TSH= 0.01 On local examination, she is having diffuse enlargement of both lobes of thyroid. some prominent vessels visible over thyroid. USG neck report suggestive of diffuse enlargement of both lobes of thyroid with increased vascularity. cervical lymphadenopathy. these finding of increased vascularity and cervical lymph nodes involvement goes in favour of malignancy. should I go for FNAC or RAIU SCAN, or directly go for surgery. Inputs from Dr Krishna sir and Dr Pervez sir will be really helpful.
