Blocked milk duct. Have a hot shower, and massage the breast under water to help break up the lump.Use a warm compress to help soften the lump – try a warmed (not hot) heat pack, wrapped in a soft cloth and held to breast for a few minutes.Check that bra isn’t too tight. She might even want to take it off during feeds.
