Needs esophagoscopy and bronchoscopy to confirm. Bronchoplueral fistula in an eldery is a rare event Since pt has predominantly respiratory symptoms, needs to know what esophagial growth has pt presented with?? If it is not proven, kindly get endoscopy for both biopsy and to rule out malignant involvement of tracheobronchial tree leading to fistula formation and??? Mediastinitis

Ca esophagus can lead to Tracheo esophagial fistula
