Keloid are firm , rubbery lession or shinny firbous nodule, and can Vary from pink to the color of the person's skin or red dark brown in color. A Keloid scar is benign and Not contagious but sometimes accompanied by severe itchiness pain and Changes in texture. 40 years old non diabetic female presented with lesions as depicted in images over hands, hip, feet ,abdomen and a scalp with itching. The lesions look crusty .Initially I thought they were psoriasis but now since the lesions have spread and crusty in nature, what could be the diagnosis and also management, because I'm unable to arrive at the diagnosis .Will skin biopsy help? Patient presented in the OPD with these lesions over whole body. Lesions are painless,non tender,from last 30 yrs gradually increased in size from last 10 yrs.. Took Rx from some hospitals but not relieved. He is a K/C/O Ulcerative Colitis from past 6 yrs, on medication Mesacol OD 1.2 gm OD. He is a K/C/O BPH Grade 2 and on Urimax-D from past 4 months. Is it Xanthoma with Xanthelesma? ?Lipoma. What are the differential diagnosis for the lesions and Treatment??
