Lower back injury management

80y, male, DM + HTN (good control),leading normal life, suddenly fall and injured in lower back. Now PT is suffering from mild to moderate lower back pain while try to rise from a sitting position and try to sit from a standing position. No fever, no Red flag.PT do not want to X- ray/MRI (covid19 fobia).Please suggest a conservative management.

Should go for xray atleast...if cannot go then complete bed rest with toilet on the bed...after 3-4 weeks once the pain subsides then can sit up with LS belt...but emphasize on the xrays
