Lump over right ASIS x 8 years

68 year old female had a lump/nodular swelling over her right hip since 8 years. Purulent discharge x 1 year. The swelling is firm to hard, irregular surface, mobile - does not appear adherent to underlying bone. Approx size: 4 x 4 x 3 cm. Diagnosis, work-up and management?

Fibroadenoma hip Secondary infection Adv excision in total and confirm by HPE Broad-spectrum antibiotics like amoxyclav or Lenazolinid Lesions seems to be benign

Caseating lesion a possibility as in Tuberculus lymphadenitis. CBC esr Xray pelvis Xray chest Plan excision biopsy Desirable to do a CT or MRI before that to assess the extent

Seems to be case of infected bursa over the greater trochanter for a long time. USG of the region FNAC to establish the the diagnosis and followed by excision biopsy.
