Lymphocytosis since 4month
patient is 55 year old....H/o mild pneumonia before 3 month...but from that time her WBC count as same as that of time...no symptoms of fever....or any other complaint....other reports are absolutely normal...
Leucocytosis with lymphocytic predominance. Persistent high count. See for peripheral smear. May need BMS sos biopsy. Ref to hematologist.

You may check whether current X ray is normal or not. Any history of cough/expectoration may be ruled out again. If there are any auscultatory finding – to be ruled out. You may also command for ESR, Urine analysis and CRP for detecting any co-infection. Because only in rare cases it takes long for the WBC counts to get back to their normals. Pls do update.
Its case of neutropenic leucosytosis, it may show decrese immunity, r/o hiv status vs sever infection.

32 year newly married male presented with cough,, dyspnoea,, SOB,, high grade fever with chills (104°F),, generalized weakness and severe headache.. O/E -B/l decresed air entry (no air entry left UZ) with gross wheeze and basal crepts -BP 80/40mmhg -HR 120/min -Spo2 80% on air -RR 35/min -Temp 104°F Viral markers are negative. LFT, RFT, WNL ECG is sinus tachycardia CXRPA,, HRCT THORAX,, CBC,, ESR attached. Patient has been admitted in ICU under my care.

17yrs old male child having fever cough chest pain and gen weakness with joint pain since last one month. Investigations except x ray and esr are normal. TKC-12460 with 65% lymphocytes. Ct chest reveals infective pathology and sputum normal. Started with pipercillin, vanco, clinda with symptomatic treatment. Bt no such improvement fever still persists 2-3times a day. Plz explain DD&Rx and further management
