Looks like a case of Pityriasis Rosea. Since it has scales calamine lotion can cause dryness& more irritation. Do a blood VDRL & investigate for diabetes mellitus. Any case resembling PR should be investigated for syphilis. Though there is no itching , the extent of the problem irritates the mind & causes a tendency to scratch. So, an anti histamine like cetrizine can be given at night. Provides good sleep too. Externally can advise liquid paraffin after bath. If the patient’s blood VDRL is non reactive even mild steroid ountments can be given. Review periodically.
