Management for ankyloglossia???

In ankyloglossia, it is important to verify whether it is only anterior or posterior as well. In anterior tongue tie a simple lingual frenectomy is sufficient. But in posterior tongue tie some amount of muscle dissection is also needed to enable proper movement and lifting of the dorsum. Surgery should be followed by speech therapy if needed.
