Mx depends on aetiology 9f renal colic 1 if due to UTI RX broadspectrum antibiotics like Cefuroxime Cefuroxime tazobactum Nitrofurantoin Cefixime+ofloxacin Alkalisers Antispasmodics Either parentral or oral depending 9n severity of colic 2 renal calculus Again you have to consider size and obstructive site of calculus Conservative or surgical Conservative iv fluids inj lasix inj diclofenac rest supportive treatment Surgical pcnl LITHOTRYPSY or retrograde cystoscopy with uretero lithotomy or cystolithotomy

First and for most ANTISPASMODIC SOS WITH PPI as per Age Body weight And also Severity of the patients by oral and parenteral any route. Needs blood and urine routine investigation with imagination test . If any calculus seen Or any surgical procedure then consult with UROLOGIST Or URO-SURGEON for better treatment and management.

At first these investigations must be done to rule out the cause such as..... Urine dipstick Midstream urine culture Full blood count Serum creatinine Electrolytes Serum urate Serum calcium Serum phosphate After that treatment should be started. Acute pain control with either a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs or morphine. Laboratory testing, e.g. serum creatinine and full blood count Prompt referral (same-day if possible) for CT urogram or kidney-bladder ultrasound and x-ray. Prescribe an analgesic for ongoing pain management. Prescribe an alpha-blocker to accelerate stone passage. Consult with the patient the following day to discuss treatment and referral options
