Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children

Recently, a spike in cases of Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome (MIS-C) in children who have recovered from Covid-19 has been reported. According to the data by Indian Academy of Paediatrics Intensive Care Chapter, after the first wave of Covid-19, more than 2,000 cases of MIS-C have been reported in the country. According to experts, most of the children start showing symptoms of MIS-C 2-6 weeks after recovering from COVID-19. Please share your experiences with this disease in your practice.......

Informative and educative update. It is matter of concern more than 2000 cases has been reported in india after recovery from COVID 19 After 2 nd wave ( still going on ) COVID appropriate behaviour and presents awareness and follow up of recovered from covid child may reduce further chances of spread.

Thanks for sharing updated knowledge sharing with us . Covid 19 cases are very few in childrens .MIS -C should be known to each and everyone with alaming sign and symptoms like Kawasaki disease

This is an overestimate and overdiagnosed hypothetical condition. This thing would never occur if children with covid infection are managed patiently from the beginning.

This explanation is very important and feasible to refer in such cases...in fact after recovering children should be all the more given great er care than before....heart related foods...and organic alkaline diet..... sunshine...also help
