Muscoskeletal/neuralgic pain

A 36 yrs old female with c/o pain in neck on movement.pain felt on left side lateral to thyroid but medial to sternocleidomastoid. On neck movements, the pain is referred to half side of face and behind the ear. H/o two lscs with spinal anesthesia in the past. (last lscs 5 years back).patient complained of lowerback ache which was relieved with physiotherapy a year back. No H/o earache or ear discharge. No H/o dental problems. No retro orbital pain or headache. No H/o cervical pain Patient is on naproxen BD with gabapentin OD. Pain is relieved temporarily. Not yet investigated. Any hints to diagnosis and treatment?

Treat symptomatically Sos USG neck. MRI cervical spine

C spindylosis. Mumps. Herpes

Adv HRS neck to look for any growth in that region Till then give tb pregaba 75 mg HS

Yes Doctor this seems nerve pain Refer to physiotherapist since there seems to be no assosciation wth endocrinal changes aka thyroid issues or MI

I think you should check her scalene muscle involvment and the insertion point of SCM.
