A very illustrative Curofy Expert clinical Caae discussion by Dr Yashesh Dalal .regarding Menimgomyelocele. Mismanaged from pediatric surgeon, orthopedic surgeon to radiologist who missed deep tethering of spinal cord .. Although no one is at fault. Every one did their job as per their experience. But I again want to emphasize that medical science is a team work .We should not feel shy in taking expert opinion from all concerned specialities and ultimately refer the patient to the most experienced relevant specialist. Thanks

THEIR IS NO DOUT THAT ONE LEARNS BY MISTAKES BUT THE MISTAKES HAVE NOT BE INTENSIONAL WE ARE IN THE ERA OF SUBSPECISLITIES SO THEIR IS LESS CHANCE OF MISTSKES WE SHOULD NIT FEEL SHY TO REFER THE PATIENT TO THE CONCERNED SUBSPECISLIST FOR BETTER TREAMENT DO NOT TRY TO A PROCEDURE AS A EXPETIMENTAL MODALITY UPDATE KNOWLEGE BE ASDOCIATED WITH A SR CONSULTANT AND LEAN THE PROCEDURES TRY TO ASSIST A SR SURGEON AS MUCH AS PODDIBLE I THINK FOR RENEWAL OF REGISTERATION OF DOCTORS THEIR SHOULD BE A PROPER EXAMINATION AS IS DONE IN EUROPEAN COUNTETIES

Dr Yashesh Dalal nicely explained case of spina bifida and time to time consultations with neurologist Mylomeningocele with typical weakness and loss of sensation Helped the patient with superficial surgical excision.
