myositis is usually viral . maintaining hydration is of utmost importance . give analgesics antiinflammatory round the clock . can add vit c supplements . no role of antibiotics or steroids
Ibugesic syrup. Adequate hydration
Maintenance of fluid , analgesic,calcium,etc
Supportive treatment . Anti-inflammatory , analgesics . Self - limiting mostly.

8 yo boy, previously healthy, Px with 5 days history of fever and inability to bear weight 2/2 bilateral calf muscle pain. Px significant for tender calf muscles, bradycardia and a SEM 2/6 @ LLSB. CPK was elevated at 20000, lytes were normal. ECG obtained due to the cardiac findings. Thoughts on ECG?
