Thrombocytopenia is a sign of severe disease in typhoid fever with a higher risk for development of complications. Because the risk of hemorrhage is increased when the platelet count falls below 20 × 109/L, this is considered the threshold for prophylactic platelet transfusion.

1st of all needs to confirm the diagnosis of ITP. Secondly confirm the diagnosis of typhoid fever with stool culture. Also adv USG to rule out hypersplenism.

If typhoid is associated with thrombocytopenia it will lead to Purpura & bleeding disorder Inj Ceftrioxone Blood transfusion Platelet transfusions I v fluid High protein diet Treatment of complications

thrombocytopenia is common in typhoid fever, its course, response to treatment, and need for specific therapies such as platelet transfusion are not well characterized.

Itp..with..typhoid fever is a. Complications. Need management accordingly. With daily platelets count..and typhoid fever management.

Typhoid related with Thrombocytopenia.. Due to extensive hemorrhage , it lead lower platelet count .. Need Antibiotic Levoflox 75mg × 7d Ceftriaxone inj Metronidazole IV 5% glucose Symptomatic t/t

commenced on ceftriaxone intravenously  and azithromycin ampicillin, chloramphenicol, and trimethoprim. In addition albumin infusion
