Neonatal Teeth

Neonatal Toothh: Tooth erupted within 30 days of birth. Three week old baby Two neonatal teeth were present. One was completely erupted which was removed during first visit. Second tooth was covered by mucosa. After one week second tooth was also exposed in to oral cavity and it was removed during second visit.

Erupted deciduous teeth present at birth are turm natal teeth deciduous teeth that erupt during the first 30 days of life are turned neonatal teeth. Premature eruption usually involves only one or two teeth most commonly deciduous mandibular central incisors

At birth people usually have 20 baby (primary) teeth, which start to come in (erupt) at about 6 months of age. The first primary teeth to erupt in babies, commonly referred to as milk teeth, are already formed under the gums prior to birth.
