Acute streptococcal pharyngitis consistent with leucocytosis and raised ESR Inflammed adenoids too seen Rx betadine gargales Or aspirin gargales Tab Azithromycin 500mg od for 5days Tab aceclophenac+tab paracetamol tds Tab zyrcold bd Avoid oily fatty and spicy food D/d chr atrophied tonsillitis SOS surgical intervention

* Ac.periphayngitis. Inflamed adenoids seen therefore leucocytosis and raised ESR. Azithromycin 500mg od. Ibugesic plus TDS Chymoral forte TDS Hexa gargles or betadine lotion gargles. Tu Multivitamin and antioxidant orally. Avoid hot oily spicy food. Culture and sensitivity required to conclude.

Since there is no cough, nasal congestion/discharge --> most likely acute bacterial pharyngitis / GAS --> RST(RADT)/PCR + Throat swab culture --> amoxycillin/cephalexin either at 500mg BID x 5 days + symptomatic treatment
