Advise antibiotics preoperatively Better to go for CT before planning surgery to know extent of infection and involvement of bone Sequestrectomy and curretage Vancomycin antibiotic impregnated beads can be placed Bone grafting if needed Post op 6 weeks iv antibiotics Splint the limb for support To avoid pathological fracture Collect intraop specimen and sent it for biospy for histological / microbiological evaluation ( for malignancy / organism causing osteomyelitis & for prescribing specific antibiotics post operatively
