Dr Rabin, Yes it's clear case of HERPES ZOSTER... T2,T3,T4 dermatomes involved.... Acyclovir is very effective in first day itself... 800 mg 5 times daily Gabapentin and nortriptyline is need to avoid further damage of nerves and surpasses the neuritis...evening 5 pm Complications like cranial neuropathies, polyneuritis, myelitis, aseptic meningitis, or partial facial paralysis ....may occur So take care about complications...

Herpes Zoster ( Shingles) . There is limited role of anti-viral in this case as crusting already formed. However, this is a highly infective stage . Symptomatic and supportive treatments for wound dressing and preventive of spread.

? HERPES ZOSTER.. NEED'S.. ACYCLOVIR..ORALLY AND TOPICALLY.. GABAPENTIN WITH NEUROTROPHIC VITAMINS.. SYMPTOMATIC T/T..

Herpes zoster Acyclovir ORALLY AND LOCALLY with xylocaine jelly locally. Tapering dose of steroid orally. Multivitamin and antioxidant in. Keep the area clean and covered with sterile gauge. Good nutritious balanced diet daily. Diclo PCM TDS orally.
