Patient presents with this pruritic scar on the leg. Has multiple pustules like openings and a central scar. The lesion is present for over a month. What could be the cause? Could’ be scrub typhus but it’s usually non-pruritic

? Scrub typhus ?? Cutaneous anthrax ?? Irrespective of definate diagnosis covering the patient with oral antibiotic is worth. The choice of antibiotic may be Doxicycline Azithromycin Ciprofloxacin.

? Allergic reaction Azithromycin 500mg od. PCM ibu TDS. Levocet 5mg bd. Tapering dose of steroid orally. Clean area with diluted betadine lotion apply mupirocin+ lobate-S oint locally bd. Keep area clean and covered with sterile gauge. Multivitamins and antioxidants orally

May be Carbuncle, which is bursted,

Looks like allergic reaction to dressing/ointment. Tab.cefolac- xl BD,dressing by eumosone-g ,cetrizine1 tab.OD.
