Periapical Abscess
F/35, C/o. painless bump with mild tenderness to touch at mucogingival junction. No other complaints. Spot dx rx.
The swelling is in alveolar mucosa hence its mostly a periapical abscess infiltrating the vestibular space. (Mostly Premolar root is above the level of attachment of buccinator). Adv IOPA of 34 , 35 . I and D can be done and followed by an RCT/ extraction depending on the viability
Gingival Abscess Clavam CL 625 mg bd. PCM ibu TDS. Multivitamins and antioxidants orally. Betadine lotion gargles. Zeetee mouth paint locally.
Periapical abcess Take an iopa and confirm Refer to a dentist Ask to locate the pain, when doea it aggravates
Gingivitis
Can start (if no allergy ) amox-clav 625 bd Metronidazole 200 bd Antioxidants od Pain management pacimol ...

5yr old girl, edema develop every night since 10 days involve only face . no pain no itching.history of taking syp 'liver o xyme' since 2 year that is discontinued before 15 days.most of swelling is reduced after injectable antihistaminic and steroids than started orally..is there need of further investigation?
