PERIPHERAL SMEAR EXAMINATION
Peripheral smear of 45 year male Chief Complaints C/o Bleeding gums and epistaxis. History 45 y male presented with chief complaints of bleeding gums and epistaxis. Physical Examination Pallor 2+,P/A examination hepatosplenomegaly found. Investigations Peripheral smear examination advised. The smear shows marked leucocytosis with presence of many immature cells.. Diagnosis CHRONIC MYELOID LEUKEMIA
AML. M4. Acute myelomomocytic leuka emia Low platelets. Sug. Clinical correlation Bma.. study Spl stains..ihc. Fcm Cytogenetics .......
Looks to me Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Likely M3. Kindly do differentials on high mag. Advice flow cytometry or bone marrow examination
