Trans tibial amputation and phantom pain

PHANTOM PAINS phantom pains were one of the worse parts about becoming an amputee for me. How crazy is it that In your mind you can still get pains in the part of the limb that’s now gone. The worse ones for me were the itch and the cramp. Going down to itch a foot that’s no longer there 🤯🤯

Major nerves during amputation should be buried in muscle Neuromas at pressure points can be trouble some Fantom limb is unrelated to this It may persist more than an year
