Maxillofacial trauma

Please help in interpreting this opg and subsequent management. Patient had a left condylar fracture with left angle of mandible fracture. Rx done was IMF and plate fixation for angle fracture. Surgery was almost a month back. Now complaints of spontaneous swelling over the left angle of mandible area. Occlusion is normal but has open bite deformity.

patient got repoperated with removal of the failed previous implant and the mandible angle fracture was reduced and fixed with a 4 hour plate with an external approach, after achieving dental occlusion by maxillo-mandibular fixation.

A case of malunited fracture mandible right subcondylar and left angle region with anterior open bite. Should be taken up for surgery again otherwise this will remain as residual deformity.

Doctor Plz explain why this fail and wht will helps to prevent us from failure Thank u doctor

dr Karthika as we can see in OPG that the lower border continuity is not present at left angle region. Along with that there seems to be peri implantitis irt implant. So we have re operate the patient and do the ORIF again so that normal occlusion could be achieved. Hoping your query is answered.
