Pleural effusion with TB

21 yr medical student presented with pleural effusion 3 months ago....high ADA confirm the dx as tb.....subside all symptom Except IS HAVING CHEST PAIN AT ANTERIOR SIDE OF LEFT LOWER LOBE ON INSPIRATION DUE TO MULTILOCUTED ORGANISATION OF PLEURAL EFFUSION . after 1-2 month of steroid (pred. 40mg) and physiotherapy (respirometer) no complete dissolution of fibrosis ..{on ATT for 3 months........what to do???? @Ratan Meena

Complete ATT regime.nothing to worry.only paracetamol 5oomg sos and mild respiratory exercise coninue.as much benifit with ATt will occur on completion of treatment.residual fibrosis will not give pain.comorbid infection should be treated.

Complete ATT regime . Good nutritious balance diet and respiratory excercise. Pcm 500 mg sos. Multivitamin and antioxidants orally. Nothing to worry he will be alright with passage of time.

Go on with att .high protein diet ..physiotherapy as already doing Every thing will be settled with time
