post rx picture of 60 yrs /m under rx for pain & redness in eye for 14 days has developed this status though there is marked improvement. Describe lesions & rx .

This pt was under rx for corneal ulcer . The infection has cleared completely , but corneal thinning developed at ulcer site , & resulted in descemetocele which is the lesion seen now in the picture . Pt is being treated by patching of eye continuously for 2 days followed by dressing of eye & again patching for 2 days .The epithelial & stromal thinning has started healing & i plan to continue same rx till good healing is a acheived.

First of all we should ask any medical history And in examination we should examine the lid closure There is a epithelial defect and i am not sure but it most likely there is an impending perforation so we need yo search for any underlying cause and promotion of healing by lid closure and artificial tears and close follow up
