Pulse Polio Day

Pulse Polio Immunization program was launched in India in 1995 and is conducted twice each year. This year it was earlier scheduled for 17 January but because of COVID-19 vaccination drive, it was rescheduled for 31st January to 2nd February.

PULSE POILIO DAY IS FROM 31ST JAN TO 2ND FEBB20121 THIS YEAR WAS SCHEDULED TO BE ON 17TH JAN POSTPONED DUE TO COVID IN 5HE PAST WHEN IMMUNISATION WAS NOT SATISFACTORY LIKE WE HAVE NOW WE HAVE FOR PDT PERTUSSIS POLIO DIPTHERIA TETANUS MEASELS MUMPS WE DONT SEE CASES OF POLIO DUE TO PROPER AND ADEQUATE IMMUNISATION HOWEVER IN PAST WE WOULD SEE CASES OF POST POILIO PARALYSIS

This programme pulse polio drive is dedication of health services and could got rid off of most crippling disease Yes indian govt showed their will to make country polio free Thus combined efforts do pay as team for a long success Similarly we can see how we are fighting with corona and collective fight as a unit can uproot it even This suggest we can eradicate TB also

We have achieved this level by hard work put by all institutions at various levels and finally done it but it will be continue till we achieve highest level of immunity.

For herd immunity pulse polio programs to be continued.

It's a great achievement due to committed efforts.
