As these antiallergics are only symptomatic treatment and neither provide radical treatment nor prevent manifestations as breakdown of mast cells and liberetion of histamine so ultraquick which is difficult to neutralise

Sodium chromoglycolate is only useful in seasonal allergy .start before one month.of prior problem has started and continue for the period . available as nasal drop. Marketed by unique company of Bombay .in india it is impossible to convince a patient that you have to start medicine before problem has started .

When symptoms occurs

True:-An intranasal corticosteroid alone should be the initial treatment for allergic rhinitis with symptoms affecting quality of life. Compared with first-generation antihistamines, second-generation antihistamines have a better adverse effect profile and cause less sedation, with the exception of cetirizine (Zyrtec).

Because patients visit doctor after they experience symptoms of AR and they(drug) act against these symptoms
