RTA- Traumatic brain injury,EDH left parietal convexity
New Case 3 yr ,F, Alleged RTA , Two wheeler vs Two wheeler ,Pillion rider with out helmet ,unresponsive since RTA with left ear bleed on 14 th Jan at 6 PM.Evaluated locally ,intubated and mechanically ventilated due to poor GCS and then transferred. On exam pupils 2mm ,under the effect of sedation. Diagnosis and management. Already seen by Neurosurgeon and admitted under his care.

Left sided comminuted temporal/occipital skull #,left sided EDH with pneumocephalus, Right frontal Contusion n SAH. ATLS protocols, consult neurosx, avoid hypoxia and hypotension.

Dx-Epiddural haemorrhage with haematoma with# of lt parietal bone with countercoup injurry to frontal lobe rt side.burr hole surgery is needed urgently.

Edh with temporal bone fracture need observation repeat scan after 24 hrs then required go for burhole craniotomy
