SGLT2 inhibitor in COVID-19

Mr. X has been on a regular prescription of Dapagliflozin to manage his HF condition. He recently got admitted to the hospital with COVID-19 and is being monitored closely. Would you recommend discontinuation of Dapagliflozin?

No. Patient is admitted in hospital with close monitoring. However if blood sugar level fluctuate or get ketoacidosis due to steroid in covid 19 then switch to insulin sliding scale.

There is no need to discontinue dapagliflozin if pt is on it as said pt is of HF. Yes no advantage in c/o of new addition

My opinion to start insulin as such and stop all oral medicines of diabetes

B. Pt is being monitored closely,no info about his vitals n condition it means pt on oral intake ..so still can give Dapa..... But if condition goz lower side and due to steroid use his sugar lvl fluatuates towarda higher side we can switch to Insulin...
