Sir which drug use for drug induced allergy ,itching burning edema

As an allergic reaction to drug - My protocol is inj - Dexamethasone 1 inj I/M stat - because you never know - sometimes laryngeal oedema may occur and patient "s condition may become critical. Followed by Tab fexofenadine 180 mg O.D for 7- 10 days and tab deflazacort 12 mg O.D for 5 days

Following drugs may be used. 1-chlorphnarmine maleate. 2-levocetrizine. 3-Deslortadine. 4-fexofenadine 5-eblastine. 6-belastine. 7-hydroxyzine hydrochloride. Some are with sedative property and some are not. Antihistamine which crosses blood brain barrier are sedative and make pt drowsy.

None specific Antihistamines like tab atarax 10mg or 25mg 1tds Oral steroids Locally steroids on lesions

Antihistamine Dexamethasone and corticosteroids Adrenaline inj All these as per required dosage

Antihistamines like, Cetirizine,fexofenadine, chlorpheneramin etc
