Sir which medicine to treat hypersalivation, hyposalivation, difficulty swallowing enlarge tonsil
Multiple different conditions are questioned in one statement 1 hypersalivation it can be a symptom of hyper excitation Psychiatric conditions like depression and schizophrenia or epileptic Hence to be treated accordingly Hypersalivation also noted in anaesthesia 2 hyposalivation again could be bcz of fear depression and salioliths obstructing salivation and many other causes 3 difficulty in swallowing could physiological anamolies or pathological like malignancy or strictures or atrasia etc 4 enlarge tonsils are pathological hypertrophied tonsils and need to be subjected to tonsillectomy
THESE SYMPTOMATS ARE..ASSOCIATED WITH.. * URTI .. * OROPHARYNGITIS.. * AC. TONSILLITIS.. NEED'S.. HEXIDINE GARGLING.. AZITHROMYCIN.. PCM +LEVOCETIRIZINE..
Hyper or Hypo dictation both are psychological disorders. Treatment can only be prescribes after assessing the cause and type of behavior disorder.
Hypersalivation anticholinergic Hyposaliva chew chewingum Enlarge tonsil tonsillectomy
For hypersalivation I would rule out local dental conditions and serum electrolytes..even enlarge tonsils could be a cause for that. Search for the cause of enlarged tonsils...like viral, bacteria....can start antibiotics and PCM with phenylephrin and chlorphenaramine... can also add antihistamines.... warm water gargle tds or betadine gargle bd...that can be tried out
Glycopyrolate for hypersalivation. Pilocarpine and cevimeline for hyposalivation. Levocetrizine, moxcv625mg, flagyl400mg, betadine mouth gargle, zerodolsp, pantop dsr for enlarged tonsils.
