Verruca plana..

All Answers

Verucca Plana forehead. Common warts are actually an infection in the top layer of skin, caused by viruses in the human papillomavirus, or HPV, family. When the virus invades this outer layer of skin, usually through a tiny scratch, it causes rapid growth of cells on the outer layer of skin – creating the wart. Verrucae plana can be difficult to treat, and if the lesions are few in number and are not bothersome, therapy is not required. Treating numerous lesions may be challenging. If treatment is desired, nonscarring modalities, such as topical tretinoin gel (0.025%–0.1% applied qd), is a reasonable option.
