Skin & COVID-19

COVID‐19 affects primarily the respiratory airways, however, more and more reports of manifestation of various skin lesions and lesions of the vascular system are coming up. The percentage of patients with skin lesions varies from less than 1% to up to 20% of all SARSCoV-2 patients. Please share if you have come across such lesions in your practice.........

Yes these pictures are suggestive and seen in many covid pts Yes as thrombocytopenia and rise in IgE is seen which is consistent with these manifestations Peripheral vasculopathy as chilblains are also seen

Informative & noticeable. These days COVID-19 virus infection can manifest in any way ie. respiratory, fever cough with loss of taste & smell, headache & bodiache,abdominal,swelling legs & asymptomatic etc and now Skin manifestations due to thrombocytopenic purpura & petechiael hemorrhage.
