Swelling of joints

Chief Complaint A 35-year-old male presents with swelling of the joints of her hands, wrists, feet & knees for 1 week. History Past medical and surgical history is insignificant. She is married and has 2 kids. Her husband and kids are well. Investigations On examination, we noted maculopapular rash and a few mildly swollen cervical lymph nodes. Diagnosis What could be the diagnosis? Treatment Please advise.

Here are possibilities RA sero positive or negative Autoimune polyathriyis SLE MS Poly athritis nodosa Adv RA, ANA, CBC, ANA PROFILe

Get serum uric acid, RA factor, ANA profile done to finalize the diagnosis to treat.

Clinical and imaging correlation Cbc.. esr RA.. CRP ASO ANF URIC ACID. Find out cause... treatment depends on specific diagnosis. Polyarfritis... rash... lymphadenopathy.. Points towards.. collagen vascular disease.. Likely.. polymyositis...dermatomyosytis. Also go for.. S.cpk...aldolase.

Do CBC ESR RA TEST S.URIC ACID. ALSO CAN BE POSSIBILITY OF CHIKUNGUNIA START TAB. PIROXICAM 20MG BD FOR 5 DAYS TAB. MEDROL 4 IN TAPPERED DOSE TAB. RABEPRAZOLE 20MG BD FOR 5 DAYS TAB. NEUROKIND MORE OD FOR 5 DAYS

Confirm with investigations of.. RA Factor Specific nuclear antigen S.Uric acid*. Could be Auto immune polyarteritis. Gouty artheitis.

Adv. Get her RA factor, CBC, serum uric acid done for evaluation.
