Gluteal Abscess with Gangrene. Needs further investigation and evaluation to conclude till reports complied. Clean area with diluted betadine lotion and debridement and dressing with betadine oint locally. CEFTAM 500mg bd Analgesic ORALLY TDS Multivitamin and antioxidant orally. Keep the area clean and covered with sterile gauge.

Abscess with necrosis of overlying skin Adv Debridement under anesthesia and removal of all necrotic tissue Appropriate antibiotic Check for diabetes mellitus and treat it if present

? GLUTEAL ABSCESS WITH FOURNIER GANGRENE Swelling may be not due to hydrocele rather due to FOURNIER GANGRENE. It is rapidly progressive disease Adv: CBC, FBS, C/S Rx Break all lobules of pus and drain it Debridement of necrotic tissue Wash with H2O2 and NS. Clean area thoroughly, dry it Dressing with HYDROHEAL GEL AND BACTIGRAS Inj MONOCEF SB 1.5 g bd Inf LINEZOLID 600mg bd Tab PAN 40 OD Tab ZERODOL SP BD MULTIVITAMINS DRESSING EVERY DAY CONTROL GLUCOSE LEVEL COLOSTOMY may required if healing is not achieved to protect wound from getting fecal infection
