Trauma to hand

A 45 year old male presented with the complaint of severe pain over the hand after trauma at work. He is a mason by occupation. Advise management.

Look like a closed injury Reduction under digital block Correcting the deformity by little traction and local pressure will achieve reduction Should be stable after reduction Buddy strapping for three weeks Check xray after reduction

Post traumatic closed injury of little finger. Reduction under block and immobilization. Sling around neck. Check x Ray. 21 days. Analgesic ORALLY. Multivitamin and antioxidant orally.
