? CELLULITIS.. POST INJECTION CELLULITIS.. NEED'S.. LINEZOLID WITH CEFIXIME.. NSAIDS..AS PER NEED. .
Cellulitis of injection site Need complete evaluation by doing rft CBP and lft Then start inj.augmentin 1 .2 gm IV BD Inj.clindamycin 300 mg IV 3 times a day Inj.pan.40 mg IV od For 5 days Tab.chymoral forte 3 times a day Tab.dolo650 mg daily 3 times a day Leg elevation
? Thrombophlebitis/post injection cellulitis Broad spectrum antibiotics Anti-inflammatory PHLEBETROY QPS FOR LA ICE SPONGING MAYBE BENEFICIAL
CELLULITIS ask for CBC ESR Colour doppler to ruled out DVT , /Thrombophlebitis
Post inj.cellulitis Hot compress Tab.Enzoheal d bdpc 7days Tab.Famtac 40 bdac 7days Tab. Levomac 500 od pc 10 days If swelling persist Give inj.Monocef 1gm +inj.Amikacin 500 bd 5days Tab.Lizomac 600 mg bdpc 5days Rest are same
Local reaction to immunoglobulin Antihistamines, analgesics , emollients, moisturizers Look for infection . If detected , suggest antibiotics
