Protocols for treatment remains same wether GP treating or experts Depends on type of malaria and associated conditions P vivex can be treated by chloroquine 500mg 2stat repeat one more after 8hrs From next day 1bd 12hrly for next 2days Take care of vomiting and nausea Paracetamol Prophylaxis by tab primaquine 15mg 1od for 14days P falciparum is treated with inj artisunate or tab artimether

Confirm the type of malaria. If it's P.Vivex... Chloroquine 150 mg base / 2 tab 3 times a day, followed by 2 tab BD on next day. Complete 1500.mg base in adult. 300.mg base weekly.x 6 weeks. Paracetamol SOS. All the doses should not be given on empty stomach.

Chloroquine 150 mg 2tab t.d s.for around 7 days. Tab Dolo650 mg b.*5days. Treatment acc to the malarial strain.
