The Rezum treatment for BPH, or an enlarged prostate, is the first of its kind. Using water vapor therapy, this minimally invasive procedure has shown to significantly reduce the symptoms of BPH.

BPH-may be mild grade 1st moderate 2nd grade severe 3rd grade. Usg of abdomen prostate decides the severity.Rx-Mild-Tab Tamsulocin+dutosteroid 0.4mg 1od hs. Moderate-Tab Tamsulocin+dutosreroid 0.4mg for 1to3yrs. Foley catheterization in case retaintation of urine.for10 to 14days.with urosac. Severe-surgical intervention prostectomy or TURP of prostate.

Alpha blockers. These medications relax bladder neck muscles and muscle fibers in the prostate, making urination easier. 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. These medications shrink your prostate by preventing hormonal changes that cause prostate growth. Combination drug therapy. Tadalafil.

Depends upon various factors like age of patient, size of prostate, post residual urine volume, symptoms, associated co morbidity etc. Treatment can be medical treatment or surgical depending upon these parameters
