Treatment of tootache depends on the severity and the level of caries present in that tooth. If the caries is present in enamel or dentin and there is no pain or slight pain than filling is done and teeth should be fine. If caries reaches to the pulp than root canal treatment is done under antibiotic coverage and anesthetics. Other than caries if there is bone loss adjacent to a tooth than also it will pain Here oral prophylaxis or curettage is done under antibiotic coverage
