ISH : 1. CCB (Dihydropyridine) 2. Diuretic 3. Salt restriction IDH : 1. Thiazide Diuretic (upto 100 mm of Hg BP) 2. ACE inhibitors /AT1 Antagonists (combine with thiazide above 100 mm of Hg BP) 3. Beta Blockers (if third drug is needed or others are contraindicated). 4. R/O Secondary hypertension and treat causes acoordingly (Kidney disorders, Thyroid or Endocrinal disorders).

ISH 1 CCB ( AMLODIPINE CILNIDIPINE ) 2 IF NOT CONTROLLED ACE / ARB 3 IF NOT CONTROLLED CTD DIASTOLIC .HTN . 1 CCB 2 ARB / ACE I . ... 3 CTD IF NOT CONTROLLED BETA BLOCKER NON PHARMACOLOGICAL TREATMENT OF HTN 1 SALT REST 2 WALKING 3 MEDITATION 4 YOGA 5 STRESS MANAGEMENT ATLEAST ONE OF THE ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUG TO BE GIVEN AT NIGHT .
