Pain killers can provide just the symptomatic relief and antibiotics will reduce infection but the etiology has to be ruled out to proceed with the treatment.Clinical examination and radiographic interpretation and lab findings(if any) are mandatory to reach Diagnosis and thereafter plan for your treatment.

If you can not do operative intervention than you must use antibiotics with CNS acting pain medicines like Tramadol to relieve pain , Otherwise Endodontic treatment is the only emergency Pain relieving modality in Severe tooth pain associated with acute or chronic irreversible pulpitis

In pandemic condition like Corona you must have alternate conservative things to tell pt Brush twice or thrice daily after meal Gargle with warm water with salt Try to maintain clean hygiene of caries teeth after meal And not to chew from affected teeth

Dental pain has never been cured by medicines only there must be interference of treatment either surgical or conservative
