आयुर्वेद में इसे खालित्य कहते हैं। चिकित्सा संबंधी योग,,,,, सफेद घुंघची को पानी में पीसकर सिर पर लेप करें सुबह को गर्म पानी से धो लें और फिर कायाकल्प तेल की मालिश करें। साबुन या शैंपू का इस्तेमाल न करें। मुल्तानी मिट्टी से सिर धोएं। भ्रगंराज पंचांग का चूर्ण बनाकर 5 ग्राम सुबह-शाम सेवन कराएं। लौह भस्म सत पुटी 4 रत्ती सत गिलोय 4 रत्ती शहद में मिलाकर सुबह-शाम सेवन कराएं।
