What is the first question to be answered in any patient with neurological disease?

Thanks for all answeres. Medical students started posting the case with out any proper history and physical findings and that is why I put three questions. Where is the lesion?. The history is the most important one. The Neurologist, unlike other physicians, approaches patients from an anatomic perspective, leaving issues for physiology and etiology to be addressed later. The first step when evaluating patients with neurologic symptoms is to LOCALIZE the lesion to a specific part of the nervous system.

Duration of onset of symptoms e.g - Acute OR Subacute OR Insidious OR Chronic
