When we know that sleep apnea is there in patient . Certain care and precautions should be taken Sleep apnea patients will have snoring and pause of sleep in between This episode
Sleep Apnea I think shirodhara is best for this condition. And avoiding vatakar ahar vihar. Pranayama and asana like sarvangasan, halasan are good.
Sleep apnea Meditation, Pranayam, yogasanas. Have medications for mind relaxation..
Patient should be kept on bipap and should be monitored

Snoring and Obstructive sleep Apnea (OSA) Role of a dental surgeon. Dentist play a major role in non surgical correction of OSA The dental disciplinary concern is of Stomatognathic system causing reduced PAS due to -Anatomical Structural changes -Anatomical Positional changes -Associated Neuromuscular Tonicity changes The potential effect of teeth wear & tear/tooth loss on OSA has received very less attention. Several articles have established that teeth wear as a early sign for OSA. With every single tooth loss the high risk for OSA increased by 2% My article which appeared in IASSA NEWS LETTER (World Sleep Society) is based on my presentation in ESI hospital Sanatnagar Hyderabad. To brief Look for these features in OSA/Snoring patients -All posterior teeth grinded/worn out -Flat cusps....loss of key of occlusion -Loss of OVD -Anterior deep bite -Scalloped tongue -Hyoid mandible distance With these gross features the mandible shifts back as the Pharyngial muscles are attached to the mandible....loosing tonicity aswell. Correct positioning of the mandible,... the available repositioning techniques are -Mandibular advancement device -Full mouth rehabilitation -MMA surgically. Here is a case presentation done 13 months back little more than a year. 70yrs old man with severe snoring and early OSA referred by senior ENT surgeon to me. After full mouth rehabilitation his snoring has totally come down by 90% as per polysomnography. Pt is happy as well as their family members who had to bear with his snoring. I have patients written consent to present this case fully being aware that he may be recognised once on Social platform
