Up to 6 mm with hydrotherapy and diuretics. Cystone tab.2 tab.x BD x 10 days ( Adult ). Alkelizer. Urine ..Micro/ C.& S./ CBC.. .If Pus cells and elevated WBC...Start Antibiotic as par C.&S report. If Prostrate involvement ( BPH), go for Alpha Blocker. Consult urologist.
seems its the same case u r posting repeatedly . since u r not getting the answer u want . ur calculus is 7 mm . calculus less than 5 mm pass out spontaneously no problem . those less than 8 mm can still pass . give tab drotin 80 mg thrice daily for 7 days . tab urimax 0.4 mg once daily for 2 weeks . syp neeri 10 ml thrice daily for 2 weeks . tab levomac 500 mg once daily . plenty of fluids . u can even advise the patient if he is a drunkard to drink beer liberally . it will act as a diuretic help in stone expulsion .
Treatment for renal calculus depends on size and site of calculus and whether it is obstructive or nonobstructive so also is it a/w uti or not It is usually Surgical and conservative Conservative therapy consists of Hydrotherapy Oral medications which are again combination of allopathic+ayurvedic Surgical procedures are may depending on size and site like PCNL Lithotrypsy Retrocystoscpic uretrolithotomy or vesicolithotomy etc
Size of calculi matters...and type of calculi. Stag horn calculi usually requires surgical intervention Otherwise... Any calculus >8mm needs lithotripsy or surgery. Between 6-8mm : ureteric .. hydration and flush therapy... also give Silodocin or tamsulocin. (Alpha adrenergic blocker) various supplement medicines are used.
