Which blood investigations need to be done in psoriasis patient?

No specific abnormalities can be seen in blood tests in uncomplicated psoriasis. Secondary infection and psoriatic arthropathy can be ruled out by CBC ,ESR and CRP . Comorbidities like DM should be ruled out . If steroids or methotrexate is to be used, Xray chest can be done to rule out PT

Unlike some autoimmune disorders, there are no blood tests or imaging studies that can aid in the diagnosis of psoriasis. But Skin biopsy can confirm the diagnosis. There are supportive tests for Psoriatic arthritis like ESR & CRP..To access reactive inflammatory intensities.

Acute case nothing but chronic psoriasis patient? TC, DC,ESR Hb%, BS(F),LFT, ALLERGY TEST ESSENTIAL.

Specific investigations are not for psoriasis But like cbc esr and bsl f&pp are advisable

@ for diagnosiscofirmation - skin biopsy , for methotraxate - CBC, LFT must required , thyroid profile , blood sugar also be investigation
